Our Mission

At Perumal and Partners, we are constantly striving for excellence in our journey to become leaders in diagnostic radiology.

We aim to make our patients feel at ease from the outset in our warm and hospitable environment, attended to by friendly and knowledgeable staff who always place our patient needs first.
Our patients are at the heart of all our endeavours to provide the highest level of care, using cutting-edge technology and techniques to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Dr Leon Perumal

Dr Perumal graduated with his undergraduate degree in 1998 from Medunsa, after which he served his internship and community service at King Edward and Prince Mshiyeni hospitals. He qualified as a Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist in 2005. Dr Perumal spent 6 years at Addington Hospital as the Head of the Radiology department before establishing his own state of the art practice at Ahmed Al Kadi hospital. He continues to hold a special interest in Women’s wellness.

Dr Priya Parag

Dr Parag obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Natal in 1998. She qualified as a Specialist Diagnostic Radiologist in 2005, thereafter practicing extensively in the United Kingdom, RK Khan Hospital and Albert Luthuli Central Hospital – where she was the Clinical Head of Radiology. Having joined Perumal & Partners at its inception, Dr Parag has a special interest in Neuro-imaging, Onco-radiology and Women’s Health.

Sabrina

A committed and enthusiastic sonographer, Sabrina, is able to conduct ultrasounds in a caring and friendly manner. She always strives to make patients comfortable during scans, and works hard to ensure the best care is taken.

Ronetta

Ronetta is one of our founding team members. She studied at DUT, graduating in 2004. As a healthcare worker who strives to achieve a level of patient comfort and excellence in health care, she has a wide range of experience within all facets of radiography.

Shantel

Having graduated at DUT in 1999, she is a radiographer with an attention to detail, and uses her skills for MRI and CT studies. Shantel offers a level of patient care which is reassuring when you visit our facilities, to ensure patients feel comfortable and supported.

Lindile

An experienced radiographer, Lindile graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 1997. She specialises in MRI studies, with her care for patients and willingness to assist, enabling the best treatment always for our patients. Her commitment and compassionate nature ensures the best level of support.

Janice

As a dedicated radiographer, who is highly skilled, she has a passion for patient care and diagnostic imaging. She is proficient in all areas of radiography with a wealth of knowledge. Focusing on after hours patient care across all studies, she has a pleasant disposition to reassure and comfort patients.

Anika

Having graduated from DUT in 2000, Anika has wide experience locally and internationally. She is able to conduct a variety of scans, but focuses on MRI studies. Her calm nature enables all patients feel at ease, and with her expertise she is an accomplished professional.

Khatija

As part of our in-house sonography team Khatija is an sonographer, who conducts ultrasounds for a variety of diagnostic purposes. She works within our radiography team as a valued member, prioritising patient’s needs first.

Noxolo

Having graduated in 2021, at the University of Johannesburg, Noxolo, has worked in the diagnostic medical space, building her skills. She is able to perform a range of modalities, however her specialisation is in Women’s health and as such she is our mammographer, who deals with patients respectfully and compassionately.

Nabeela

As a committed healthcare professional, Nabeela is able to conduct all modalities of
diagnostic radiography not limited to but including MRI’s, CT’s as well as
mammograms. She is a supportive and integral part of our team here. Her kind nature puts patients at ease thus ensuring comfort and care always.
